Free from cage
The abstract expressionism of art has expressed emotions by techniques that rely on gestures and movements.
They thought that artists could express their inner thoughts and emotions in action with a free mind and body movements.
Performance in a building of a Botanic Garden in Australia,
whose motif has been a bird cage, focused on expressing freedom among the numerous characteristics
of Acmeci's clothes based on the abstract expressionism.
I've been deeply inspired by the birds that look so free here,
which are not confined to cages, but which come and go in and out without boundaries.
When healing and rest are needed, the birds themselves come in and stay in their cage,
get enough rest and fly back up.
It's not just a free space for birds to come and go, but it has become a special place to rest and recover.
We made this place as a means of communication to diffuse the philosophy and beliefs we are pursuing.
We focused that those who put Acmeci’s wear tend to look for being comfortable
with the most basic gestures rather than pursuing excessive motions,
so we focused on movements while they are walking.
There is a close correlation of a person’s movement and emotion with the function
of our stretchable fabric, the pattern of which has been modified and supplemented innumerably,
so it makes sure the shoulder blade that is the first part of arm’s movement could be comfortable.
The reason of having many times of gestures to adjust his/her dress to be comfort,
is because their wear means more than a simple ordinary interaction with themselves,
but it’s an emotional connection that lasts subtly.
